Foam versus Solution…..and the winner is????

A lot of readers have been asking about which product is better.  Foam or Solution.  While both contain Minoxidil 5% solution there are decidedly different opinions about which is easies, cleanest and most convenient to use.

The hands down winner in this little competition is FOAM!  Yes Foam wins every time in comparisons between users who have tried both.

The below review sums it up pretty well.

“I am a 25yr old Asian male, who has been thinning hair for about 7yrs now. I have used the liquid version before, but I have to say that the foam is much easier to use; once you get the hang of it. “

Top 9 Reasons People Prefer Foam

  • Foam is much easier to apply.
  • Solution makes you feel sticky and gross
  • It’s much easier to apply the correct amount using Foam.
  • You End up using too much solution and wasting product
  • Solution is much more messy than Foam
  • Solution takes longer to apply and left some users hair feeling dirty and greasy
  • Solution often drips down your face, while the foam stays put
  • Foam is easier so people are much less likely to “forget” to put it on.
  • If this is your first time trying Rogaine or if you have only been trying the solution product I highly recommend you try the foam product.
